How to download YouTube videos on mobile
Step 1: Open the YouTube on your smartphone.
Step 2: Search for the video you want to download or save.
Step 3: Open the video that you want to download.
Step 4: Tap on the download button, which is located just below the video. It should be there next to the Share option. Once you tap on it, select the quality of download – FullHD (1080p), High (720p), Medium (260p), Low (144p), and then tap on Download.
The video should now be downloaded on your phone and accessible from the Downloads section.
How to download YouTube videos on desktop
Step 1: Open the YouTube website on your browser.
Step 2: Search and open the video that you want to download.
Step 3: Tap on the three horizontal dots below the video, next to the Share button.
Step 4: Tap on the download and select the download quality – FullHD (1080p), High (720p), Medium (260p), Low (144p), and then tap on Download again.
Step 5: The video should now be downloaded on the YouTube desktop. To access it, head to the home page by tapping the YouTube logo in the upper left corner.
Step 6: Tap on Downloads on the left sidebar. All your downloaded videos should be displayed in this section.
Download YouTube videos using third-party apps
YouTube may not always allow you to download any video available on the platform. In such cases, you have to rely on third-party apps. Follow the steps below to download and save a YouTube video on your phone using third-party apps.
Mobile
Step 1: Copy the link to the video you want to download. To do that, tap on the Share button option below a video and tap on the Copy link button.
Step 2: Now, visit the ssyoutube.com website on your mobile phone.
Step 3: Paste the link you just copied in the white box and tap on Download.
Step 4: Tap on the Download button next to the video quality.
Step 5: The video should now be downloaded to your device. Access it from the file manager or in the gallery on Android.
Desktop
Step 1: Copy the link to the video you want to download. To do that, tap on the Share button option below a video and tap on the Copy.
Step 2: Open the ssyoutube.com website in a new window.
Step 3: Paste the link you just copied in the white box and tap on Download.
Step 4: Tap on the Download button next to the video quality.
Step 5: The video will then be downloaded in the Downloads section on your desktop. Tap on My PC or File Explorer and head to the Downloads section to access it.
