Nepal records 121 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 445, on Wednesday as 121 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,009 while the death toll remains at 12,022 as one fatality was recorded today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 2,377 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 620 were PCR tests while 1,757 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,025,347 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed five positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
