Sunil Thapa passes away while busy with film work

 

Kathmandu – Senior actor Sunil Thapa has passed away. According to Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC, he died on Saturday morning due to a heart attack.

Thapa, who had been living in an apartment at Shankhamul, suffered a heart attack on Saturday morning. He was then taken to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali, where he passed away. He had even been at a film shoot just the previous day.

On Friday, Thapa had returned after completing the shooting of “Ram Naam Satya,” which is set to be released on 27 Chait. However, he passed away before the shooting of the same film could be completed. He was a well-established actor in negative (villain) roles in Nepali cinema and was also popularly known in the film industry as “Rate Kaila.”
