Two of the four matches played by Nepal have ended in the last over. The Super Six match against UAE and Qatar went to the last over. This is an interesting thing for Nepali cricket. When UAE was chasing a target of 141 runs against Nepal, it was possible to win until the last ball of the last over.

However, when Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airi came to bowl the last over, UAE needed 10 runs. UAE’s pressure hit a six in the third ball of the last over, which stopped Nepal in the last three balls.

Dipendra managed to take a wicket in the fourth ball of the last over. Similarly, Nepal also took wickets in the fifth and sixth balls, making the game in their favor.

After that, Nepal also managed to win in the last over in the second match of the Super Six.

Sandeep Lamichhane bowled when Nepal won in the last over against Qatar. Chasing the target of 148 runs given by Nepal, Qatar needed to score 10 runs in the last over.

However, Sandeep turned the game in his favor by bowling two dot balls in the last over. Similarly, he took a wicket in the third over, putting Qatar under even more pressure.

Sandeep conceded one run in the fourth ball and spent two runs in the fifth over. The game was only in a position to go to a super over if Qatar hit a six in the last ball.

Nepal secured a 7-run victory in the final over when wicketkeeper Asif Sheikh stumped Sandeep’s delivery.
