Actress Namrata Shrestha has spoken about the Saruk suicide case for the first time. On Monday, Namrata wrote a long status about this through her social networking site Facebook and said that after a long time, she conveyed some real information.

Expressing her displeasure with the media and social media news about her, she has appealed not to consider her silence as a weakness.

She started her speech by paying tribute to the death of Saruk and expressing her condolences to the family. Similarly, she also said that Saruk’s suicide surprised her. She said that the incident happened some time ago, but now she is forced to talk about it through social media.

She informed that she rarely comes to the media, but after this incident, some online media, some filmmakers and some officials were biased to write and write fabricated news through different media and her family and legal group closely watched this activity.

Similarly, Namrata also said that she was subjected to so many social attacks because she was a woman. But because it is a male-dominated society, she also said that it is ‘okay’.

She also said that she received calls from many media after the incident. She revealed that at that time her phone was with her brother. According to him, his phone is still handled by his family. Similarly, she also said that her family did not allow her to speak about it because speaking to the media would affect the investigation. She also clarified that this time she did not appear in the television interview because the interview she gave in the past was sabotaged and there was an attempt to make her a troll. In this regard, she said, “I have no qualms about giving necessary screenings, but my legal team will watch the fake news and various videos related to this incident.” ‘

She also informed that the police called her for a statement because she was an actor of the movie #MAYA starring Saruk. She said, “I was also an actor of this movie. But in a fictitious way, the funds like leaving the country and going to Canada, while going outside India requires a visa, when I went to give a statement to the police administration, the police officers looked at my passport and said.

But I was surprised to see that I did not visit anywhere.. When my family members and helpers tried to contact the movie making team and the family of the deceased many times from the early days, they did not want to come in contact.

I was sick and was under the care of my family. When I was called by the police administration, I immediately attended the police office. A detailed INQUIRY was done regarding this incident, and everything was told that it was true. It seems that the making team of the movie, the actors are being interrogated. Because I was not the only actor in that movie.

It is said that Nepal Police is the top 5 best police in the world. We are very hopeful that the truth of this incident will be investigated in such a way that milk becomes water.
